Experiment data is divided into eight Variation Types.
Methylation: Methyl groups added to DNA.
Point mutation: Single nucleotide base change.
Locus Mutation: Mutation at specific chromosomal position.
Unspecified gene mutation: Genetic variation is not specified in literature.
LOH (Loss of Heterozygosity): Loss of one gene allele.
CNV (Copy Number Variation): DNA sections duplicated or deleted.
SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism): Common single nucleotide variation.
Indel Mutation (Insertion/Deletion Mutation): Insertion or deletion of nucleotides.
Experiment data is divided into seven Continents.
Online Database: Including TCGA and GEO.
Others: Refers to more than 1 data source or country.
The variated genes are divided into three Gene Type.
Protein Coding: Mutations altering protein sequences in genes.
MicroRNA: Mutations in non-coding RNA molecules that regulate gene expression.
Others: Refers to muations which is not connected with specific gene or miRNA.
