Factor Information
Data ID 2170
Factor association between postoperative DTI measures of average diffusivity and preoperative brain injury score (coefficients)
Description In the preoperative longitudinal analyses, we examined whether preoperative BIS predicted postoperative DTI and MRSI values. An increasing preoperative brain injury score was associated with higher postoperative Dav (p = 0.002) (figure) and higher lactate/choline (p = 0.008)
Biomarker NA
Classification Z (combined factor - combined factor)
Association
Application prognosis
Objective To determine the relationship between radiologically identifiable brain injuries and delayed brain development as reflected by brain metabolic and microstructural integrity.
p Value 0.002
Conclusion In the preoperative longitudinal analyses, we examined whether preoperative BIS predicted postoperative DTI and MRSI values. An increasing preoperative brain injury score was associated with higher postoperative Dav (p = 0.002) (figure) and higher lactate/choline (p = 0.008)
