| Conclusion | In acquired heart disease the apperance of clinical symptoms usually marks the beginning of the condition, but in CHD may coincide with the final and rapid deterioration of the patient. Therefore operative indications in congenital anomalies can not be placed solely on the basis of the severity of clinical symptoms but should be determinded by the presence or absence of an extra work-load on the myocardium. |
